One of my favorite pieces of jewelry featured in my site are the ceramic necklaces.
They come in a variety of colors ranging from white stone to deep purple. They are easy to wear, adjust around the neck and come with matching earrings.
Since I started carrying this line exclusively to the U.S. market, I have a 100% customer satisfaction.
Please, take advantage of the "Free Shipping" offer ending today. For the price of $25 per piece, you can wear a nice distinctive ceramic piece of jewelry made in Greece 100%.
The entire Greek ceramic jewelry collection come with pieces that reflect Greek History or mythology. Thus, we have pendants of Alexander the Great, the Disc of Phaistos, Pegasus, the Owl (the bird symbol of Goddess Athena ) and many others.
Stay tuned as I plan to add another Greek collection in May 2009.

Carnival Traditions and their Greek connection
Today is the last day of the Greek Carnival Tradition which is celebrated with a big parade in the Town of Patra and the traditional kite-flying and family picknic in Athens.
Today's date is called "Clean Monday" or "Kathara Theftera" because of the consumption of pure food, that is food without the shedding of blood. More important, it is the first day of Lent in the Greek Orthodox calendar.
Carnival is not a new concept for Greeks. The processions, costuming and feasting derive from festivities called "Dionysia" which were performed in Ancient Athens in honor of Dionysus, the God of wine, pleasure, vegetation and festivity. "Dionysia" were normally held at the end of March signifying the end of winter and beginning of the birth of crops.
Western Theater also originates in Athens and specifically, in the theatrical plays (tragedies and comedies) performed during the "Dionysia"
To celebrate the end of the Carnival season and the beginning of Spring, we offer free "First class" shipping, including unbeatable discounts in selected items.
Happy Spring !
